The Fu Man Chu Lionfish is red to orange with dark, black mottled stripes and specks on its body with white accents on its face, red and black striped patterns decorate its compact fan-like fins. Appendages hang down the face which resemble a mustache.
The Fu Man Chu is a very beautiful fish but not as hardy as others in the family. They are very shy at first and may require less competitive tank mates. Have plenty of rock work with ledges and caves for shelter.
Lionfish will eat all meaty foods and it’s good to vary their diet, however it is best to train them to eat vitamin enriched foods such as Ocean Nutrition to maintain good health.
