The Spotfin Lionfish or Antennata Lionfish has reddish vertical bands around the body and very long whip-like pectoral fins with tall raised poisonous dorsal fins, the tailfin is transparent with white and dark tiny spots.
The Antennata Lionfish is a very hardy Lionfish that does well with plenty of good hiding places present and less larger competitive tankmates. Can be kept with other similar Lionfish. May eat small fish and invertebrates.
Lionfish will eat all meaty foods and it’s good to vary their diet, however it is best to train them to eat vitamin enriched foods such as Ocean Nutrition to maintain good health.
