The Silver Moony or Mono Angelfish has a shiny silver colored body with yellow accents on the fins. Two faded black lines run down across the eyes and gills. The body is thin and triangle shaped.
The Silver Moony is an aquarium favorite that does best in small groups. This interesting fish as a juvenile thrives in fresh water; as an adult they can be acclimated to the saltwater aquarium. Keep with other peaceful fish although the Mono Angelfish is also considered semi-aggresive ; have plenty of swim area and live rock or ornamental structures for shelter.
Feed a variety of small meaty foods including nutritious pellet foods such as Ocean Nutrition Formula One Pellets.
