Description
The Map Puffer or Scribbled Puffer with its intricate patterns and large stature is a prize among aquarist.
It uses its pectoral fins to move around like a dirigible. Have a large aquarium with adequate swimming area and good hiding places.
Never use a net to transfer a puffer.
Feed a variety of meaty foods. Pufferfish really go for squid and clams. Puffers will eat smaller fish and invertebrates. Train your puffer to eat Ocean Nutrition Formula One Pellets for extra nutrition.
