Description
The Saddled Toby Puffer or Valentini Puffer is a sharp nosed puffer with black saddle-like patterns on its body; oddly, the Saddled Filefish mimics this same pattern.
This puffer is an inquisitive specimen but will nip the fins of some tank mates. The Saddled Valentini Puffer is hardy and stays relatively small, although males will grow larger than females. May nip at small invertebrates.
Feed a variety of meaty foods. Pufferfish really go for squid and clams. Puffers will eat smaller fish and invertebrates. Train your puffer to eat Ocean Nutrition Formula One Pellets for extra nutrition.
