The Yellow lined Sweetlips or Twostriped Sweetlips as a juvenile has an elongated body and thick black lateral bands with thinner gold bands down its body. When mature it will have numerous lateral thin yellow, white and black bands and the fins are yellow.
Provide ample swimming area with live rock for shelter. They are difficult to feed, housing with peaceful tank mates gives the sweetlips a chance to eat. Try live feeder shrimp then transition to frozen preparations after your sweetlips is fully acclimated in its new surroundings. Juveniles can be housed together but will need larger tanks. Will eat small invertebrates.
Provide a variety of frozen meaty food such as silversides, shrimp, krill and Mysis Shrimp.
