The Crown Squirrelfish is a handsome fish with flashy white narrow stripes on its red shiny body.
The hardy Crown Squirrelfish are very abundant in the waters of the indo-pacific and hang out in small groups near shore and in reefs; once established they will do well if provided with readily available shelter areas and low lighting. Can be kept in small groups in larger systems and will congregate over structures. When fully grown they may eat smaller fish and invertebrates in the tank.
They well eat a wide variety of meaty foods including frozen shrimp and chopped squid. Train your Squirrelfish to eat Ocean Nutrition Formula One Pellets on a regular basis for adequate nutrition.
