Description
The Tongan Big Eye has a bright reddish body with subtle silver tones. It has large eyes and a large lower jaw for its nocturnal feeding habits.
The Tongan Big Eye is a hardy deep water fish. They are very resourceful predators. Provide lots of good shelter areas and low light. Can be kept in small groups in larger systems. Will eat smaller fish and invertebrates.
They well eat a wide variety of meaty foods including frozen shrimp and chopped squid. Train your Squirrelfish to eat Ocean Nutrition Formula One Pellets on a regular basis for adequate nutrition.
