The underated Atlantic Blue Tang resides from the warm waters of the Caribbean Ocean, this handsome tang has a rich blue color on an oval body and has a light yellow to blue tail fin.
The Atlantic Blue is a timid tang that will graze on various algae, it is best to keep The Atlantic Blue Tang single unless in very large systems. Keep with other peaceful fish that will not bully. Have plenty of swimming space available for your Atlantic Blue Tang.
Have plenty of live rock in your tank. Tangs will graze on the live rock and it will provide necessary hiding areas and swim pass-throughs.
Tangs will eat just about all fish foods; Ocean Nutrition Pellets are a perfect diet. Feed tangs with plenty of marine-based seaweed, as this will keep them healthy. Try putting seaweed on a veggie clip, or break into small pieces and feed 2-3 times per week. Ocean Nutrition Seaweed contains garlic which helps the immune system in these colorful fish.
