The Goldrim Tang or Whitecheek Tang is very similar in shape to the Powder Brown Tang it is has a gray to dark shaded body with stunning yellow accents near the fins and a white cheek.
The Goldrim Tangcan be slightly aggressive in nature with other tangs; have adequate swimming area in the tank. The Goldrim Tang is prone to ich so keep up good water quality and minimize stress.
Have plenty of live rock in your tank. Tangs will graze on the live rock and it will provide necessary shelter areas and swim pass-throughs.
Tangs will eat just about all fish foods; Ocean Nutrition Pellets are a perfect diet. Feed tangs with plenty of marine-based seaweed, as this will keep them healthy. Try putting seaweed on a veggie clip, or break into small pieces and feed 2-3 times per week. Ocean Nutrition Seaweed contains garlic which helps the immune system in these colorful fish.
