Description
The Barred Thicklip Wrasse, also called the Barred Wrasse or Five-banded Wrasse; it has dark brown to black irregular bars that stretch vertically down its robust white body. The head is shaded in luminescent green, yellow and pink. The large protruding lips give this unique fish its name.
The Barred Thicklip Wrasse is best in a semi-aggressive fish only tank; The Barred Thicklip Wrasse can be territorial so have lots of swimming area with plenty of live rock with good hiding places, thick sandy substrate is always good. Will eat ornamental invertebrates in the tank.
