Description
The Broomtail Wrasse, or Thicklip Wrasse originates from the Red Sea and Indian Ocean, it is a large wrasse with a greenish head and body, with sporadic purple or reddish dots that cover the Broomtails menacing head. The Broomtail as the name suggests has a broom like tail fin.
House the Broomtail Wrasse in a larger fish only aggressive aquarium. The Broomtail Wrasse is capable of getting rather large and may eat smaller tank mates, keep well fed with a diet of frozen silversides, shrimp and krill.
