The Cleaner Wrasse or Bluestreak Cleaner Wrasse is a small elongated fish with silver, blue and black horizontal strips across the body. The mouth is pointed.
The Cleaner Wrasse needs a sustainable population of tank mates (such as tangs) to clean and provide it with necessary food. It will then systematically clean all fish of parasites from their body, however most can be trained to eat frozen brine shrimp. It is a hardy fish but many aquarists find them challenging to take care of due to their feeding habits. Keep a tight lid on aquarium at all times. Watch for aggressors that can nip them such as small puffers and other larger wrasses.
