The Cometa Wrasse has a elongated black body with thin white to yellow horizontal lines than run down the body. The dorsal is stands short and is shaded in yellow.
The Cometa Wrasse juvenile in the wild may clean parasites off of other fish; as it grows it will eventually feed exclusively on soft coral. Keep in a peaceful fish community. Have plenty of live rock with lots of good hiding places and thick sandy substrate. Will pick at small invertebrates.
The wrasse will consume a wide variety of foods. Feed vitamin enriched frozen and dry foods. Train your wrasse to eat Ocean Nutrition Pellet Food for a healthy diet.
