Description

The Dusky Wrasse or Splendid Rainbow Wrasse as an adult has a brilliant pattern display of red, orange, green and blue color throughout its enchanting body. 

 

The Dusky Wrasse is difficult to feed in the home aquarium and may need live feeder shrimp to initiate feeding.  Keep only one per tank with peaceful tank mates in a well-established system.  Have lots of good hiding places and thick sandy substrate.  Will consume bothersome parasites and other smaller invertebrates.
