The Saddleback Wrasse or Jansen's Wrasse is an eye-catching wrasse found in abundance around the Hawaiian Islands. It has blue, green and orange saddle markings down the front half of it body.
The Saddle Wrasse will glide around effortlessly in the tank with a few paddles from its pectoral fins in search of small prey in crevices. They are peaceful and fun to watch. Keep only one per tank with peaceful tank mates and have lots of good hiding places and thick sandy substrate. Will eat smaller invertebrates.
The wrasse will consume a wide variety of foods. Feed vitamin enriched frozen and dry foods. Train your wrasse to eat Ocean Nutrition Pellet Food for a healthy diet.
