The Orange Axil Wrasse also known as the Red Shoulder Wrasse or Red-spot Wrasse is a stocky elongated wrasse that is widespread in the Indo-Pacific. Adults have a grayish turquoise colored body with several staggered electric blue lines running horizontally down the body.
The Orange Axil Wrasse does best in a (FOWLR) tank with other peaceful fish. May grow to 6 inches, so offer ample exploring area with plenty of live rock. Have lots of good shelter areas and thick sandy substrate. Will eat a variety of invertebrates.
The wrasse will consume a wide variety of foods. Feed vitamin enriched frozen and dry foods. Train your wrasse to eat Ocean Nutrition Pellet Food for a healthy diet.
