The Red Lined Wrasse or False Eye Wrasse is a small hardy fish exploding with color. Juveniles have more red lateral lines and have black eye spots on the dorsal fin. Adults will lose the black eye spots and have a tribal scale pattern of red and green on the body.
They are very voracious pickers and will even nip at starfish and urchins. Keep with large tangs or angelfish. Have plenty of live rock with lots of good hiding places and thick sandy substrate. Will eat invertebrates.
The wrasse will consume a wide variety of foods. Feed vitamin enriched frozen and dry foods. Train your wrasse to eat Ocean Nutrition Pellet Food for a healthy diet.
